Kids in Tech
Our Learning Path

Four levels. One journey from curious to creator.

Kids ages 8–18 progress step by step — from visual coding in Scratch, to building for the web, to robotics, and finally an Advanced Track in AI, game and mobile app development.

01
Level 1 · Foundation

Scratch Programming

Logic & thinking

The starting point: kids learn computational thinking, sequencing, and problem-solving by building games and animated stories in Scratch — no typing syntax required.

Duration5 weeks
Ages8–18
PrerequisitesNone — total beginners welcome

What you'll learn

Break problems into steps (algorithms)
Use loops, events and conditionals visually
Design characters, sprites and scenes
Build a playable game or animated story

Example projects

[Maze / catch game — TODO]

[Animated story — TODO]

Certification: Certificate of Participation

02
Level 2 · Structure

Web Development

Building for the web

Kids move from blocks to real code, building their first web pages with HTML, CSS and a taste of JavaScript — and publishing something they can share online.

Duration5 weeks
Ages8–18
PrerequisitesComfortable with a computer; Scratch helpful but not required

What you'll learn

Structure a page with semantic HTML
Style responsive layouts with CSS
Add interactivity with JavaScript
Deploy and share a live web page

Example projects

[Personal profile site — TODO]

[Mini quiz app — TODO]

Certification: Certificate of Participation

03
Level 3 · Integration

Robotics & Embedded Systems

Programming & control

Where code meets the physical world: kids program microcontrollers and build robots, connecting sensors and motors to bring their projects to life.

Duration6 weeks
Ages8–18
PrerequisitesBasic coding (Scratch or Web Development)

What you'll learn

Wire and program a microcontroller
Read sensors and drive motors
Combine hardware with code logic
Build a working robot project

Example projects

[Obstacle-avoiding robot — TODO]

[Smart sensor gadget — TODO]

Certification: Certificate of Participation

04
Level 4 · Specialization

Advanced Track

Choose your path

For learners ready to go deep. Specialise in one of three directions and build a substantial, portfolio-worthy project you can show off.

Duration6–8 weeks
Ages8–18
PrerequisitesWeb Development or Robotics track

What you'll learn

Pick a specialization and scope a real project
Apply prior skills to a larger build
Ship and present a portfolio-worthy project

Choose a specialization

AI & Prompt Engineering

Build with modern AI — craft prompts, design assistants, and explore how intelligent tools work.

Game Development

Design and code real games — mechanics, levels, art and sound — beyond drag-and-drop.

Mobile App Development

Turn ideas into apps that run on a phone, from UI to logic to sharing them.

Example projects

[AI assistant demo — TODO]

[Original game — TODO]

[Mobile app — TODO]

Certification: Certificate of Participation (Certificate of Completion via KITOS, later)

How it works

Progress level by level — and earn your certificate

Move up as you grow

Each level builds on the last. Beginners start at Scratch; confident coders can move faster toward the Advanced Track.

Certificate of Participation

Every learner who takes part receives a Certificate of Participation to celebrate their work.

Completion via KITOS

A Certificate of Completion is coming through KITOS, our upcoming learning platform.
